Do I need to buy new hardware?

No. ApexIngest works with the data logger you already have. If you don't have one yet, we recommend the RaceBox Mini for the best out-of-the-box experience.

How do I get my data into ApexIngest?

Does it work at any UK circuit?

Yes. Brands Hatch (Indy and GP), Donington Park, Oulton Park, Silverstone (National and International), and Cadwell Park are pre-loaded with track maps and start/finish lines. Any other circuit works automatically via GPS geofencing.

Do I need phone signal at the track?

Not for logging — your data logger records everything locally. You only need an internet connection when you upload your session to ApexIngest after the track day.

What data does ApexIngest analyse?

GPS position and speed, lean angle (if your logger has an IMU), throttle position (if available), plus braking zone analysis and throttle pickup timing. The analysis adapts to the channels your logger provides — even basic GPS-only data gets speed traces, lap detection, and corner coaching.

Lean angle accuracy depends on your data logger's IMU. Loggers like the RaceBox with a built-in IMU provide lean angle data that ApexIngest processes and visualises automatically.

Yes. Upload your GoPro or helmet cam footage (MP4 or MOV) and it syncs with your telemetry data. Watch your video with live speed, lean angle, throttle, and a GPS mini-map overlaid. Fine-tune the sync to the tenth of a second. Pro plan feature.
